Seasonal and Year Round Events (YREs) are self-service walks. Walk Boxes are located in places of business open to the public, so access to the Walk Box may be limited to the Start Point’s business hours. No walking staff is present and trails are not marked. The walker relies on a set of directions and a map that have been field-tested to provide an interesting 5 km or 10 km route. Instructions on how to find and walk a YRE are found on our website here: Find and Take Part in a Seasonal or Year Round Event
Use the interactive map below to find Seasonal and YREs sponsored by our club. (Use brackets at upper right to enlarge the map.) The NWFT has 3 Seasonal (marked in green) and 10 YREs (marked in blue). Details on each of the walks shown on the map can be found by clicking on the link in the descriptions, below the map.
