The wonderful creator of the Iowa Parklands website has taken the maps and directions created by the Nebraska Wander Freunde Trailblazers and Iowa’s Walking Club and turned them into professional products. These are available to anyone who wants to enjoy Iowa’s State Parks during its Centennial Year, free of charge*. A big thank you to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Travel Iowa, AARP and the American Volkssport Association for underwriting those associated costs!State Map of 20 Iowa Park Walks
Be sure to look around the website for souvenir collectibles.
Those walking for AVA/IVV credit (book stampers) still have to stop by the AVA Walk Box at each location in order to register, pay and stamp their books. Only book stampers can receive the special “I Walked Them All!” patch. See our page for details.
