Eclipse Events – Links and Resources

There are a number of official and very informative sites out there with information about the Total Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017.  As we find more information, we’ll pass it along to you.

NASA’s page:  https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/  including this very   important page on eye safety:  https://www.nasa.gov/content/eye-safety-during-a-total-solar-eclipse.  Here’s a one page flyer on that same topic.

There are a number of commercial websites out there with information on community events, informative videos and links to products. (We will be supplying paper solar eclipse glasses for our registered participants.)

Here are a few for you to look at:

Edgerton Explorit Center News – from our Aurora, Nebraska walking partner

National Eclipse website – fun graphics and info, plus community events

Eclipse 2017 website – with links to Android and Apple apps

Great American Eclipse – from a link listed on the Edgerton Explorit Center’s website
