The theme for the North Central Region’s biennial Roundup is “Blazin’ Trails and Tellin’ Tales” – and we aim to do just that!

We’ve got four walks scheduled.  Three of them are part of the “20 Iowa Parks in 2020” program.  The last walk of the weekend is another chance to walk a 2011 National Convention favorite, Hitchcock Nature Center in the Loess Hills of western Iowa.  From flat, paved trails (trail rating 1A) to hilly, wooded hikes (trail rating 3B), all located in picturesque and natural settings, we’ve got it all!

Between walks, we’ll have a chance to meet and greet one another.  Whether it’s at a group walk, in a small town diner, at a food truck, the regional business meeting or at a gourmet, sit-down dinner, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to swap tales and share our stories.  A member of OOPS (Omaha Organization for the Purpose of Storytelling) is on deck to tell us the best stories of all!

For just $45, you’ll get 4 walks, a souvenir microwave bowl holder, and gourmet dinner and dessert (add another $6 for mouthwatering steak!).

Reserve your walking weekend by clicking here:  Regional Roundup Registration Form to download a registration form.  Registrations are due September 11, 2020.  Those registering for the entire event, including the banquet, get a $5 souvenir FREE!

See you on the trails!
